Frequently Asked Questions
what's on your mind?
store, shipping & returns
How can I contact ReLove?
You can contact us most easily using the Messenger button you'll find at the bottom right corner throughout our website. If you would prefer to contact us in another way, pop over an email to michael@relovereuse.com.
How long is delivery?
Your products will ship within one day of your order from the UK. Each product at ReLove has an estimated delivery time that you can find in the product description. If you are ordering from outside the UK, due to the effect of COVID-19 on overseas logistics, we ask for your patience in regard to the specificity of shipping times. Keep an eye out for the "Speedy Shipping" icon on the top right corner of product photos - which indicates that the product will be delivered within a few days across the UK! Keep on top of where your order is using the tracking link provided in the shipping confirmation email.
Where do you deliver to?
We offer FREE shipping across the UK on every item on our store. We have recently stopped shipping worldwide to focus solely on working with small businesses here in the UK. If you are based in a location outside the UK, please feel free to contact us and we will see if we can arrange delivery to you! Some items do also ship to the United States and Canada for a small fee - you can find these items here and details in each products description.
I've ordered multiple items, will they arrive together?
When ordering multiple items please be aware they may arrive separately. This is due to the fact that we don't hold stock, instead partnering with a number of fabulous small eco businesses who handle our orders. By sending them directly to you from their workshops, this allows us to cut out the needless carbon footprint of double handling orders.
How are your products packaged?
Each product at ReLove is now packaged completely plastic-free, utilising recyclable or completely biodegradable elements wherever possible! Each of the small eco businesses we work with are in control of their own specific packaging - you can find more info on each products page.
What is your returns policy?
Instead of returning items, please contact us directly if there is a problem with your order. Why? Returns run counter to our emphasis on sustainability: every return has a carbon footprint. So just tell us what went wrong, send along a pic, and we’ll find a solution!
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations are possible if you do not receive your package within the timeframe specified for each individual product. Sometimes orders get sent out before we can process the cancellation, in this case we will come to an amicable solution.
What happens if I receive the wrong item?
If there’s an issue with your order -- if it’s the wrong size, wrong colour, defective, or otherwise not exactly what you wanted -- then simply notify us, and we’ll find a solution.
Do you offer exchanges?
We currently do not offer exchanges. However, if for any reason you didn’t get the exact product you expected, just let us know and we’ll find a solution.
I like a product, but you don’t offer a suitable option for me. What can I do?
If you see a product you like and it is, for example, not available in your preferred colour, pattern or quantity, just contact us via email or Messenger expressing your interest and we will see what we can do to help!
Do you offer business/bulk orders?
Yes - we wish all businesses would think sustainable like you! If you would like to place a business or bulk order, get in touch via Messenger.
bee-free vegan wax wraps
Are vegan wax wraps friendly to the environment?
Yes - by choosing reusable, you can eliminate single-use alternatives from your shopping list! No more fiddly tinfoil or cling film wrap that you spend forever un-clinging from itself! No more one-and-done disposables destined for landfill - say YES to the all vegan alternative designed for repeat use to reduce our impact on the environment.
What are vegan wax wraps made of?
Our wax wraps are BPA free and chemical free - made with all compostable ingredients: cotton fabric, soy wax and a food grade pine resin coating. If you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients we recommend checking out our stretchy silicone lids.
How long can I use my wraps for?
Each wrap approximately lasts 120-150 uses or one year before needing replaced. The soy wax and resin make them sturdy, resistant to fraying and much longer lasting than your cupboards plastic-based predecessors.
Can my wraps be refreshed after a year?
They can! If they're starting to lose their mould-ability after a year or so of use then just pop them in the oven on a very low heat for a couple of minutes on greaseproof paper. When you take them out use an oven glove at they get hot and hang over a bit of string to reset.
Can my wraps be recycled?
Even better - and unlike the single-use cling film they will be replacing - they can be composted! When they eventually fall apart they can be cut into strips and popped in with your compost pile or used as firelighters!
How do I clean my wraps?
After use, rinse with COLD soapy water and leave to dry naturally on the drainer. Do not use warm water or in your dishwasher as this can melt the wax and they are flammable.
How do I use my wraps?
Easy! Just place your item in and wrap as you would with its plastic/tinfoil predecessors (without the single use harm to the environment!) The heat from your hands will mould your wax wrap around your food or container!
Where can I use my wraps?
Our wraps are equally happy at room temperature and in the fridge. They are also freezer safe should you want to, though to remould they will have to defrost! Do NOT use in the oven and microwave as the wax does not react well with heat.
What can I use my wraps for?
We LOVE using them with our sandwiches but they have loads of uses! If you plan to reuse your wraps on different food items as opposed to committing certain wraps for certain foods, we recommend you do not use them with onions or other scented products (including fish or raw meat if you are non-vegan). As they are only washed with cold water, they can leave their scent behind. You can place your smellier food in a bowl and cover the top with a wrap to avoid the food touching the wrap. Foods that would stain clothes on contact may stain your soy wax wrap. While it will not affect usability, you may prefer to avoid them to avoid stains.
How do beeswax wraps smell?
Fresh. From the oils, resin and straight from the hive, each wraps scent will vary depending on where the bees have foraged. Rest easy knowing the scent won't affect your food and will diminish with washing.
Why do vegan wraps use soy wax?
Soy wax is a fabulous natural alternative to beeswax that is breathable, allowing food to stay fresher for longer, reducing food wastage.
How should I store my wraps?
We suggest folded in a drawer, out of direct sunlight.
Should I clean my wraps before first use?
We suggest a light clean with any product before their first use.
What size are my wraps?
Our vegan wraps come in packs of two, one 24cm x 24cm (9.5" x 9.5") wrap and one 29cm x 29cm (11.4" x 11.4") wrap. All sizes are approximate as they are cut by hand.
How will my wraps be packaged?
Your wax wrap set will be wrapped in recycled tissue paper, tied with string and packaged in a paper envelope. This is then securely sealed with brown paper tape. All of the packaging can be reused, recycled or composted. Delivered by our partners The Crake Nest.
How long will delivery take?
We deliver our vegan wax wraps free across the UK with speedy delivery in just 4-7 days. If you're in the USA, we use Royal Mail's untracked international service which delivers in 6-7 business days for £5.00.
beautifully bamboo makeup brushes
Are my bamboo makeup brushes friendly to the environment?
Yes! By choosing bamboo handled brushes with a slick aluminium ferrule, you can eliminate plenty of plastic from your makeup routine. E.g. those big chunky plastic handles and opt for a sustainable brush set you can recycle and allow to naturally biodegrade (excluding the bristles, we're not quite perfect yet but we're working on it...).
What are ReLove's makeup brushes made of?
Each brush handle is made of vegan-friendly, biodegradable bamboo - completely eliminating chunky plastic waste when you're due a replacement set. The ferrules meanwhile are made of recyclable aluminium alloy. The bristles are made from synthetic material to ensure they are completely cruelty-free!
Can my makeup brushes be recycled?
Yes - but separate! Your bamboo handles are completely biodegradable, while each aluminium ferrule can be recycled. The synthetic bristles are however non-biodegradable (though we are working to find a solution for this too), meaning your brushes aren't completely compostable - though as close to it as we have currently found. Our bamboo brushes eliminate a lot of waste from their predecessors - most evidently the chunky plastic handles, and even plastic ferrules on many!
How do I clean my brushes?
We recommend first wetting the bristles in lookwarm water. Next add makeup brush cleanser and swirl in the water, gently massaging the bristles. Continue to rinse clean and carefully squeeze water out so not to remove any bristles accidently. Finally, reshape your brush by leaving it to dry upside down. Make sure to avoid soaking your bamboo handle with cleanser water to avoid any discolouration.
How will my brushes feel on my skin?
Your brushes are made with super soft synthetic bristles, designed to be durable and gentle to skin.
What size are my brushes?
Each brush measures differently. Check the photo on the Beautifully Bamboo Makeup Brushes page for the total and tip length of each brush or read below.

compostable coconut scourers
Are coconut scourers friendly to the environment?
Yes - by only utilising the discarded coconut husks (as opposed to using virgin coconuts), we are able to reclaim what would have otherwise been waste. Waste left behind from production of coconut milks, oils and butters, that more often than not would otherwise be burned, letting needless CO2 into our atmosphere. Our sustainable solution doesn't just eliminate this needless CO2 - they're carbon-negative as during its lifetime the bamboo we use sucks up more carbon than our products will ever use to produce!!
What are my scourers made of?
Our scourers are made with sustainably-sourced coconuts - beginning their lives in the Coimbatore region of India, where they are shredded from the discarded coconut husks of nearby farms in Kerala and Pollachi. By shredding, we are able to extract the coconut coir fibre before spraying with a natural rubber latex and reinforcing them with stitching to ensure they are strong and durable!
How long can I use my scourers for?
We suggest a fresh scourer each month. With consistent use with your dishes, each triple pack of scourers will last approximately 3 months.
Can my scourers be composted?
Absolutely - after hundreds of uses, simply return them to the ground via your compost bin so they can become one with nature again - and feed new life!
What size are my scourers?
Each scourer measures approximately 12cm x 8cm (4.7" x 3.1").
How will my scourers be packaged?
Your scourers will arrive in recyclable, plastic-free, kraft packaging. Delivered by our partners Eco Rock.
How long will delivery take?
We deliver our scourers free across the UK with speedy delivery in just 3-5 days. We unfortunately do not offer delivery outside the UK just yet.
handmade coconut bowl sets
Are coconut bowls friendly to the environment?
Yes - by choosing our all natural bowls, you are rescuing them from being burned away to make way for new crops. Your eco choice ensures that every part of the harvested coconut is put to use - reducing needless CO2 let off into the atmosphere!
What are my bowls made of?
Our bowls are made from BPA free, food grade certified coconut husks, hand carved in Vietnam and delivered to you!
Can my bowls be recycled?
No need - they're compostable!
Can I put my bowls in the dishwasher?
No - as a natural product, the heat of the dishwasher will expose them to high temperatures which will damage them - hand wash only to extend their longevity.
Can I use my bowls for hot and cold food?
We recommend only using your coconut bowls with cold food in the interest of longevity. Use with hot foods can make them liable to cracking. Salads, fruits, cereals and more they're perfect for!
Can I use my bowl in the microwave?
No - as a natural product they will be effected by the extreme temperatures. To keep them from cracking and looking good for longer, you shouldn't put them in the microwave or oven.
Isn't there a coconut taste?
No - o
How long will my bowl last?
Your coconut bowls are totally natural, but with the proper love and care they will last a lifetime!
How should I care for my coconut bowls?
To extend the longevity of your bowls, you should polish (yes polish) them every now and then. After a while, the outside may become a little dry or rough. To fix this, simply polish your bowls with a damp cloth and a spoonful of virgin coconut oil, linseed oil or flaxseed oil. Gently rub the inside and outside of your bowl with the cloth and they will be returned to their former glory!
Should I clean my bowls before first use?
We suggest a light clean with any product before their first use.
What size are my bowls?
Each bowl, regardless of pattern, measures approximately 14cm in width and 7cm in height. Each spoon is approximately 19cm in length and 3 cm wide. Since they are totally natural products, there can be slight variations (which we love!)
How long will delivery take?
We deliver our coconut bowls free across the UK with speedy delivery in just 3-5 days. If you're in the USA, we use Royal Mail's untracked international service which delivers in 7-10 days for £7.50. In Europe, it's just £3.00!
vegan coconut soy wax candle
Are coconut candles friendly to the environment?
Yes - as friendly as a candle can be to the environment! Our candles are made from coconut shells saved from waste or burning by repurposing them as totally unique homes for our toasted coconut scented soy wax.
What is my candle made of?
Our candles are made of vegan-friendly soy wax, giving off a beautiful toasted coconut aroma. The wax is held in a reclaimed coconut husk.
Can my candle be recycled?
You can compost it instead - which is even better! Just pop it in your compost bin when it has fully burnt.
How should I handle my candle?
While burning, please do not leave your candle unattended. Ensure it is placed in a suitable candle holder and away from any objects that could be flammable.
What size is my candle?
Each candle can vary somewhat in their exact dimensions, since they are each made by hand (which we think makes them even more awesome!)
